NEW MEXICO – Grown with Tradition®

This classification is used by farmers and ranchers who grow, raise and/or handle produce, nuts, livestock & poultry, meat products, horticultural products, as well as other crops

NEW MEXICO – Taste the Tradition®

This classification is used by manufactures of food and beverage products which are 51% processed, manufactured or made in the State of New Mexico. This includes sauces, seasonings, dried foods, animal products, beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), baked goods, sweets and other foods

NEW MEXICO – Grown with Tradition®/Taste the Tradition® Associate Member

This classification is used by those whom support New Mexico agriculture and Logo Program members. These include retailers, farmers markets, CSAs and roadside stands who sell three or more Taste/Grown with Tradition products, restaurants who serve dishes that incorporate one or more New Mexico food ingredient, agritourism operations, artisan and crafted products, pet food manufacturers and organizations and associations that support New Mexico agriculture. Note: Any nonfood items must be made in the state for the benefit of New Mexico agriculture and at least 51 % agriculture origin by weight, and that agriculture base must have been grown in New Mexico, unless approved by the Logo Program administrator

Section 5: Applicant Acknowledgements and Agreements

License

You grant the New Mexico Department of Agriculture, the Taste the Tradition/Grown with Tradition program a royalty-free license to publish information, materials, photographs of program members (collectively, Material) or any combination thereof on its website, social media platforms, in advertisements and in promotional or other materials. The Material may also include information found on my business or company’s website, information submitted by my business or company to Taste the Tradition/Grown with Tradition, and/or any other information found from other sources related to my business or company or product

Use Permit

I release the NMDA, Taste the Tradition/Grown with Tradition logo program, from liability for the use of the Material in connection with Taste the Tradition/Grown with Tradition.

Comply

As a Logo Program member, I will comply with all city, county, state and federal laws, ordinances and regulations.

Answered Truthfully

I have carefully read the application and have answered all questions truthfully, fully and completely.

Non-Disparagement Clause

As a Logo Program member, I agree that my company and its representatives will not disparage the mission of the Logo Program.

I attest that my product(s) fit(s) the qualifications of the program for which I am applying.

Misrepresentation Responsibility

I acknowledge that any misrepresentation of products or operations in order to falsely obtain membership in the Logo Program is solely my responsibility. Furthermore, all resulting liability from any such misrepresentations is solely my responsibility.

Random Checks

I agree to allow the Logo Program administrator and the administrator’s designees to conduct random checks, during normal business hours, of my business to view my operations, products, and documentation to ensure program guidelines are being followed.
